Abstract

The valuable premise of systemic mediation, in addition to voluntariness, is precisely to take into account the stories and emotions of the mediators and to be able to, through active empathic listening, feel listened to and valued, the willingness and compliance with the agreements made, have greater relevance in the resolution of their conflicts. In the exercise of dispute resolution through mediation in the public center #156 located in the University Center of Economic and Administrative Sciences of the University of Guadalajara, the need to recognize the emotions of the mediators and the usefulness of multidisciplinary work is identified.
